SCDHHS helps you get a ride to a medical appointment that is not an emergency. This service is available to anyone in the Healthy Connections Medicaid program.
You can get a scheduled ride when you need medical care. This isn’t in an ambulance. The state of South Carolina arranges for a company to provide the service. If you cannot get a ride on your own through other available means, such as family, friends or community resources, you can use this service. This service is for Healthy Connections Medicaid members who need to see a doctor. It's also for when you need to go to other medical visits like dialysis or go to the drug store.

To schedule a ride, call LogistiCare. You must call Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call at least three business days before your medical appointment. Here are the phone numbers:

You will need your Medicaid ID number, pick-up address, your phone number, appointment date, appointment time, doctor's name, doctor's address and doctor's phone number.
